L'Eau d'Issey Homme Sport by Issey Miyake is an'Eau de Toilette' for men belonging to the Aromatic Wooden family. This is a new addition to the L'Eau d'Issey collection, which adopts a fresher, sportier and more adventurous tone, following the classic minimalist lines that characterise the firm.
This fragrance was launched in 2012 by the perfumer Jacques Cavallier. For his creation, the master perfumer took his inspiration from sports, outdoor activities and risk, extreme sports, which cause adrenaline rush and shake the body and soul, a state of ecstasy that takes over our senses, causing a final sensation totally pleasant.
Its wake begins with a cocktail of citrus fruits, led by bergamot and grapefruit, vital and energizing components that already mark its territory from the first moment. Next, we can appreciate a light and manly heart, thanks to flashes of nutmeg in combination with leather, an element that denotes masculinity and elegance. Finally, its solid background is composed of vetiver, Virginia cedar and ambergris, giving it personality and character.
GLACIAL FRESHNESS. This fragrance captures our senses and invades them with an immense freshness. An icy and comfortable sensation, perfect for cooling the hottest days of the year.
NATURE. Always and for each of her perfumes, Issey Miyake seeks inspiration from nature. Pure, fresh and revitalizing elements that fill our days with lightness and a touch of adventure.
FUTURISTIC DESIGN. Its bottle follows the same lines as L'Eau d'Issey's, but this time, its glass is tinted in a metallic grey shade with blue details, inspired by the characteristic glasses of some risky sports, such as skiing or snowboarding.

Het parfum is geweldig, maar het kwam met een defect en de fixatie duurt een korte tijd of bijna niets. Ik weet zeker dat het een goed voorbeeld is. De winkel is geweldig en zeer betrouwbaar, alleen het product dat met problemen kwam en ik heb het gevoel dat ik mijn aankoop ben kwijtgeraakt en dat veroorzaakte enige frustratie.
Fris maar opvallend parfum, dat ik voor het eerst kocht om te proberen en ik vond het geweldig. Sindsdien heb ik het meerdere keren opnieuw gekocht en ik hoop dat het niet zal worden stopgezet.
Zoals de naam al aangeeft, past het me uiteindelijk alleen als ik sport (gewichtheffen, joggen, dansen) en op het werk (het is fysiek, ik zweet). Op feesten of evenementen trekt het helemaal niet de aandacht van anderen.
